Paul Cezanne

In homeschool, I wrote a project about a famous artist called Paul Cezanne. I thought it would be a good idea to put it onto my blog. I also copied a picture of his still life art!

‘The Basket of Apples’
(Original)

Paul Cezanne was a famous artist. He was born on the 19th January 1839 in Aix-en Provence. He died on the 22nd October 1906 aged 67 in France.

He painted still life pictures. I like his art because it looks very realistic and I like still life paintings.

Paul Cezanne died on Pneumonia, a virus that affects your lungs.

I like the painting of a basket of apples and a wine bottle because it’s looks very real and I like his style of painting. It’s called ‘The Basket of Apples’. I like the items he has used and the shadows. I like how the basket is leaning on a book and apples are all falling out and there is light shining on the bottle. He’s used lots of different colours for one apple and made the picture look very old. The tablecloth is creased and has the shadow of apples.

Kelso Forest

On Sunday, my family and I went to the forest in Kelso.

I really love this forest, it’s a good place for having a peaceful walk in the countryside. There are many different paths in this forest and it is very big. I think I over dressed a little bit because half way through the forest I was sweating and I had to take off my hat and coat! I definitely recommend this forest for any tourists and anyone who lives nearby. Warning: It gets quite muddy in some parts so I suggest you wear some boots or waterproof shoes. My shoes got very dirty!

My dog, Jodie is in the back of this picture and she got very muddy too! Don’t mind my brother, Josh pointing a gun, it’s not real! (Don’t ask me why he brought it!)

Time Stop

Sometimes I imagine I can stop time with the click of a finger. When time stops, everything becomes really light, and I can lift whatever I want and move whatever I want. I can even pull the grass off the ground! I could lift a tractor, people, anything no matter how heavy!

When I’m at school in the hall during assembly, if something boring is going on, I will simply imagine clicking my fingers and stopping time. I imagine what I could do to the people that are mean or that annoy me. I could pretend I’m really good at maths but I peeked at the answers! If anyone bothered to say a rude word to me or do something horrible, I would simply click my fingers and snip all their hair off, placing the scissors in their hands and tell a teacher! 😉

I suggest you try this in school if you ever have a boring assembly, it’s really amusing! But remember to listen just a little bit in case someone asks you a question! You don’t just have to imagine stopping the time in school, you can do it anywhere! If you’re on a walk in a boring city or if you’re in a dentist waiting room and even when you’re in the supermarket!

First Day of Homeschool

Today was our first day of homeschool and I was really excited! First we got up at 7:30am and tidied our beds and got dressed. Then we got breakfast and did our chores. I had to clear up the dining room table and lay out our school work, and Josh had to put the dishes away. Next at 9:00, all of us including my dad went out on a walk down the road to the trees. When we got back, we went upstairs to doodle and write in our journals. Then we started school! We checked on Glow for any work to do but there was nothing there, so we got out our starter packs and did some work from those. I did some spelling. We did that until lunch time. Then we got lunch and after we did half an hour of reading. When the half hour was over we listened to an audiobook but it wasn’t that interesting.

After that, we started doing some more school work. After that we got some hot chocolate with marshmallows and relaxed outside on the bench for a while.

Delicious hot chocolate and a relaxing breeze!

Me and my brother played in the back garden for a bit then got called back inside to watch a tv show called Friends. I’m sure most of you will be familiar with this programme! Then it was finally time to go on screens! I played Roblox and Josh watched Youtube. Then my mum made a delicious cheese burger and bacon casserole! There’s still a lot to come, this is just whats happened so far.

If I had a million pounds I would…

Today I’m going to use another writing prompt: ‘If I had a million pounds I would…’.

If I had a million pounds I would…Buy lots of Robux for Roblox and buy something for my best friend Layla. I would buy some Dr Martens boots of course, and some chocolate!

Wall Artist

I’ve come up with the idea of writing about being a wonderful painter and my parents let me paint whatever I want on my bedroom walls.

I would paint magnificent rainbow skies and pink, purple and blue galaxies all over the walls. I would be paid to paint other people’s walls as well. I would splash on some unicorns, lighting bolts, stars, rainbows, hearts, animals and even famous people. I get paid £50 everyday for my spectacular painting skills. I enjoy to paint for people, even if it’s just on paper, canvas or of course the walls!

It is 10 Years From Today and…

Today I’m going to use a writing prompt: ‘It is 10 years from today and…’ I’m going to write what I think my life will be like 10 years from now. For example how I’m living, my house, if I have any pets, my job, etc.

It is 10 years from today and I’m living in a pure white mansion with my fluffy little dog, Sugar. After I get up out of my fluffy white princess bed, I make pancakes for breakfast with maple syrup, sugar and lemon juice and I like to have a home made cappuccino with cream. When I’m eating, I sit at a pure white marble dining table with modern chairs and gleaming gold cutlery sitting on silky white napkins. Hanging from the ceiling are sparkling chandeliers.

I live alone in my mansion and I have a part time job as an artist and part time job as an architect. I love to draw and paint still life pictures and portraits of people. I also love to create things with any material I can find. I’m not too messy and make sure to tidy up after I’ve made something or painted something. I have my own special private art studio with all different types of pencils, paints, paper and materials for making things.

Sometimes I like to go into my recording studio and make a Youtube video or just play games of my choice. Other times I’m relaxing in my pure white marble bathroom with rainbow mood lights. There is two gleaming sinks and a golden toilet with a fluffy toilet seat. Above, there is a shimmering chandelier made out of real diamonds and pearls.

If it’s sunny outside, I would go to relax on a deck chair and stare at the beautiful blue sky. Or I sit on the swing and admire the gorgeous view. I always make a delicious steaming hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows if I’m going out on a cold day. Sometimes I go for a walk down the hill to the local park with Sugar, blooming roses and daffodils all around me. Apple trees and rose bushes are spread out all over the park with the bright sun rays shining down through the trees.

When it is getting late, I make a cup of tea and sit on my massive leather sofa in front of my deluxe TV and watch a film. Sometimes I might make some popcorn for the movie. I rest my feet on a fluffy white bear rug and snuggle into my fluffy white blanket. When it is bedtime, I always clear up the house and creep upstairs to my master bedroom. I go to brush my teeth with my super soft toothbrush and have a warm bubble bath. After, I get dry and then I sneak back into my bedroom. I change into my nightie and put away my clothes. Then I relax into my double bed and read some of my favourite books with a glass of water on my marble bedside table to help me fall asleep into my silky white sheets.

Last Day of School – Coronavirus

Today was my and all my friends’ last day of school. We won’t be back for a long time and I feel like it won’t be such a good few weeks. It’s not a holiday if you’re thinking that. It’s really to do with the Coronavirus. I would rather stay at school and do all the work than be stuck at home for a long period of time.

We’ve set up a Glow teams page for all of the pupils in the school so that we can get sent work home to do from our teachers. Also we can email each other from it too which I think will keep me from going crazy!

I feel really anxious about how this Coronavirus situation is going to turn out. I really hope the world will start to get better and we can all be together again! Shops are emptying fast and everyone is getting into a panic, there’s really no need for it all. The whole country is going on lock down and I’m not necessarily worried about the virus, I’m more worried about how the weeks are going to go down.
